Iron is an important element in our body - blood is red due to it, and when we are anemic, then we are tired and pale. Also, iron is a necessary element for both animals and plants. We intake iron through food and also through water. Still, if there is too much iron in water, it can be harmful! And not just for us. In this case, taps and entire systems for watering are also endangered, as well as the plants. Plants irrigated with such water decreased growth and development. Do you know that iron is one of the causers of the unpleasant smell and taste of water (the taste of "iron"), and that the grass can become orange?! Come to entertain and have fun through a workshop and experiments where we will learn how to eliminate iron from water for domestic purposes.
